Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting a quotation for 187 feet of aluminum alloy metallic tubing, NSN 4710-00-279-0036. The tubing must have a 1.250-inch outside diameter, 0.095-inch wall thickness, 10- to 12-foot random lengths, T3 temper, Type 1 construction, plain ends, and comply with the cited SAE AMS specifications and technical data requirements. The requirement includes quality conformance inspection, a certificate of quality compliance, metal certification, packaging and marking requirements, and destination inspection and acceptance. Delivery is required within 147 days after order, FOB origin, with a quantity variance of plus or minus 10 percent. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
