Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for 50 feet of extruded flat aluminum alloy 7075-T73511 metal bar, measuring 2.500 inches thick by 4.000 inches wide and 10 to 12 feet long, at approximately 12.100 pounds per foot. The requirement includes delivery within 160 days after award, with a quantity variance of plus or minus 10 percent, FOB origin, and destination inspection and acceptance. The material must comply with the cited technical and quality requirements, including applicable SAE, ASTM, MIL-STD-129, and DLA requirements. Suppliers must comply with Qualified Suppliers List for Distributors requirements, continuous identification markings, MIL-STD-2073-1E packaging, and applicable domestic-material restrictions. A Certificate of Quality Compliance (mill-material certification) is required with each shipment; this is a supply requirement rather than a submission-time quotation attachment. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System by the stated return date.
