Description
Iowa State University’s Department of Public Safety is requesting proposals for 46 body cameras, 14 vehicle camera systems, two fixed booking/interview room camera systems, and one portable booking/interview room camera system. The solution must include associated installation, implementation, training, technical support, warranties, and integration with existing vehicle and cellular infrastructure. The procurement also requires a unified cloud-based digital evidence storage and management platform with case management, unlimited primary and third-party evidence storage, migration of approximately 60 TB from an existing Motorola EL5 server, multifactor authentication, configurable access controls and retention settings, audit logging, GPS-based mapping, CJIS compliance, security certifications such as SOC 2 or ISO/IEC, and synchronized playback of body- and vehicle-camera footage. Preferred capabilities include redaction, transcription, live viewing, advanced search, integrations with existing video and LPR systems, and emergency-operations viewing. A completed HECVAT Lite assessment and VPAT are required attachments.
