Description
The Town of Harrison seeks a professional engineer to provide all required engineering services to its Planning Board for the period January 1 through December 31, 2027. Compensation will be based on hourly rates. Proposals will be evaluated on experience and reputation, staff adequacy, knowledge of the town and relevant subject matter, availability for town meetings, proposed compensation, and other factors deemed to be in the town’s best interests. Submit a proposal on the proposer’s letterhead with a certification as to its truthfulness and accuracy. The proposal must also certify compliance with the cited New Jersey equal employment opportunity requirements, that the proposer knows of no conflict arising from the proposed retention, and that it maintains professional malpractice or errors and omissions insurance of at least $1 million/$2 million with an insurer authorized to do business in New Jersey. The proposal must acknowledge that the town is to be notified of a proposed policy termination and that termination of coverage during the agreement term will automatically terminate the agreement.
