Description
The City seeks bids for construction work involving removal and reinstallation of historic brick sidewalks, including a concrete paver base and brick curb ramps. The work also includes crosswalk repainting, resetting and installing granite curbs, and removing and replanting street trees. Hardscape work must comply with the Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG). The contractor is expected to review the City's proposed construction phasing and sequencing and provide input to help mitigate disruption to businesses and residents. Only the three firms listed as pre-qualified in the advertisement may bid. Bids must use the provided Bid Proposal form and include a bid deposit equal to 5% of the proposal, either as cash, a cashier's check, a certified check, or a bid bond. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount.
