Description
The United States Army is conducting market research for recurring supplies of specialized military-grade sealing compound kits supporting assembly, maintenance, and fleet preservation. The requirement covers three specified configurations: two-part quart kits for rain-erosion coating, three-part 4,500-gram kits for radar-absorbent material coating, and two-part surface-repair kits. Estimated demand is 50 kits of each configuration annually, or 250 kits of each over five years, with no formulation or configuration variations accepted. Respondents must demonstrate OEM authorization or manufacturing/distribution capability, exact technical equivalency for any non-OEM product, chemical compatibility, manufacturing capacity, shelf-life management, quality certifications and batch-testing procedures. Each shipment must include certificates of analysis or conformance documenting shelf life, batch numbers, mix ratios, and compliance with military material specifications. The notice requests a capability statement of no more than 10 pages, including company and socioeconomic information, technical capability, quality systems, up to three relevant past-performance references from the last three years, and non-binding ROM pricing and commercial terms. This is a sources-sought notice for market research, not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
