Description
Lake Shore Public Schools is soliciting bids for technology renovations covering three work areas: an outdoor single-mode fiber-optic backbone expansion, multimedia systems for its baseball and softball stadiums, and video surveillance upgrades. The fiber work includes cabling, terminations, testing, documentation, and warranty support. The multimedia scope includes wireless microphones, audio processing and mixing equipment, outdoor speakers, amplification, installation, configuration, testing, and training. The surveillance scope includes 12 exterior cameras, Category 6 cabling, integration with the district’s existing system, testing, and training. Bidders must submit pricing by work category and provide the required bid forms, project references, shop drawings and product submittals, and other response materials. A 5% bid security is required. The selected contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds; insurance certificates are required before work begins. The bid package also requires a hard-copy response and an electronic copy on a USB drive, with the schedule of values additionally supplied as an Excel-compatible spreadsheet.
