Description
Delaware Technical and Community College is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive snow and ice removal services at multiple campuses and related properties throughout Delaware. The scope includes snow plowing and removal, deicing, ice control, sidewalk and pedestrian-area clearing, treatment of roadways, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, accessible routes, emergency exits, fire hydrants, and other designated areas. Contractors must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, vehicles, materials, deicing products, fuel, tools, transportation, staffing, and operational resources necessary to respond to winter weather events, including events outside normal business hours. The College anticipates multiple awards based on geographic coverage, operational capacity, continuity of service, timely response, site-specific needs, and best value. Vendors must describe their experience, staffing, equipment, qualifications, services, references, and subcontractors, and must submit pricing by campus and snow or ice event. The initial contract period is three years, from January 15, 2027, through January 15, 2030, with three optional one-year renewals. Four paper copies and one electronic copy on a USB drive are required, including the completed Appendix B pricing workbook in Excel format.
