Description
The City of Cleveland seeks an authorized Kenworth parts dealer/distributor and service center to supply parts and labor for maintenance and repairs of Kenworth dump trucks. Work includes diagnosis, repair, and replacement of components as needed, including regular and emergency parts supply. Bidders must provide proof of authorized dealer/distributor and service-center status, a manufacturer letter confirming dealer/distributor status, current parts price lists, parts discounts, labor rates, and delivery times. The bid also requires a completed city price list for specified parts and product and warranty information when applicable. Parts must carry at least a six-month replacement warranty or any longer applicable warranty. Labor must remain firm for the purchase-order term, and workmanship is warranted for 12 months from delivery or six months from installation. The purchase order is valid for one year or until funds are exhausted, whichever occurs first, and may not exceed $25,000. Services and orders are provided as needed after departmental approval.
