Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking capable sources to provide all labor and technical services for depot-level, on-site aircraft painting and de-painting operations supporting C-5, C-17, C-130, F-15, and Global Hawk workloads. The scope includes surface preparation, chemical and mechanical cleaning, blasting, coating application, paint removal, fuel-tank servicing, equipment operation, quality control, safety compliance, workforce training, and related aircraft maintenance support. The requirement includes aircraft painters and contractor supervisors, staffing management, personal protective equipment, occupational-health testing, security and installation access, quality and safety programs, labor and financial reporting, and workforce scaling for regular, swing, and overnight shifts. This is a Sources Sought market survey rather than a request for proposals; respondents must provide business information and capability documentation, including relevant experience, quality processes, recruiting and retention strategy, and surge-staffing capacity. No final set-aside decision has been made, although an 8(a) set-aside is identified as the original classification on the notice.
