Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking capability information from contractors able to repair deficiencies identified in electrical inspection and testing reports at the Wilmington VA Medical Center. The anticipated work includes validating inspection results; procuring and installing circuit breakers and racking mechanisms; repairing existing racking mechanisms and circuit breakers for future spares; evaluating failed circuit breakers; and correcting deficiencies identified in the Low Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Test and Inspection Deficiency Summary. The contractor would furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide complete, functional systems in accordance with VA requirements, applicable codes, industry standards, specifications, and drawings. The anticipated construction magnitude is $25,000 to $100,000, with completion required within 365 days after notice to proceed. This is a sources-sought/RFI notice for planning and market-research purposes only, not a request for proposals or a commitment to award a contract. Respondents are asked to provide a statement of interest, capability statement, pricing for similar completed projects, proposed contracting or teaming arrangement, company and UEI information, and business type and size standard under NAICS 236220.
