Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a contractor to clean and rebuild shell-and-tube heat exchangers serving the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. Work includes inspecting and cleaning exchanger tubes, replacing gaskets and seals as needed, reassembling the units, and performing leak or pressure tests before returning them to service. The contractor must also provide and install specified isolation valves and related materials, and remove cleaning debris and waste. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and qualified personnel. The work is a one-time service request to be completed within 90 days of award. The quote must include technical capability, pricing, and up to three recent and relevant past-performance examples; the solicitation requires the contractor to be the equipment manufacturer, an authorized service provider, or an authorized distributor of OEM parts and materials. Amendment 0001 announces an approved site visit on November 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM, and extends the quotation deadline to November 12, 2026, at 12:00 PM Mountain Time. Vendors wishing to attend must notify the Contract Specialist by email.
