Description
This sources-sought notice seeks capability statements from businesses able to provide on-site maintenance and repair for approximately 2,270 government-owned washers and dryers, including electric and gas dryers. The draft work statement covers recurring preventive maintenance, cleaning, service-call response, repairs, equipment replacement and relocation, and the provision of personnel, parts, tools, supplies, and transportation. The inventory may fluctuate by 10%. Technicians should be certified to maintain commercial electrical and gas laundry equipment, including digital machines. The anticipated contract is firm-fixed-price, with one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The notice requests a capability statement of no more than 10 pages, in Times New Roman font of at least 10-point size, addressing relevant experience, management and technical capabilities, business profile and size, subcontracting capacity, and ability to meet facility and safeguarding requirements. This is a sources-sought market-research notice, not a solicitation for proposals; no set-aside has been determined. The notice states that personnel must be U.S. citizens and have a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) by the start of performance, while the attached draft work statement also describes personnel as U.S. citizens or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
