Description
The Colorado Department of Transportation seeks project-specific construction management, construction inspection, and materials testing engineering services for concrete pavement rehabilitation on I-25 from 44th Avenue to US 36. The construction work includes concrete panel replacement, diamond grinding, cross stitching, sawing and sealing, bridge deck rehabilitation, MSE wall repair, concrete guardrail replacement, signing, and pavement marking. The consultant team must provide a full-time assistant project engineer, inspectors, and a materials tester/inspector, with specified experience and certifications. Responsibilities include construction administration, field inspection and documentation, materials sampling and testing, quantity tracking, traffic-control coordination, payroll and civil-rights compliance monitoring, and project closeout. Consultant positions must work fully in person at the project site. The scope anticipates approximately 200 working days for construction activities, plus administrative work before and after construction; the anticipated start is early April 2027.
