Description
Palm Beach County is pre-qualifying vendors to supply and deliver new household and commercial appliances and equipment, including items such as refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, laundry equipment, and commercial food-service equipment. Vendors must identify the manufacturers they can supply and meet applicable safety and industry standards. Equipment must be new, current-production, free of defects and recalls, and include factory warranties; shipping must be included in quoted prices. Applicable manuals and maintenance instructions must accompany equipment when required. Pre-qualified vendors will be invited to submit written quotes for individual projects as needed. Projects are awarded on an all-or-none basis to the lowest total-price vendor, subject to applicable preferences. The anticipated value over the 60-month term is $2,000,000, but project quantities and work are not guaranteed. Projects at or above the mandatory bid threshold are separately solicited through a formal competitive process.
