Description
Barrow County is soliciting a fixed-price proposal for fencing contractor services at Victor Lord Park baseball and softball Fields 8-11. The work includes removing and disposing of existing fencing and service gates; preparing reusable posts; furnishing and installing new black vinyl-coated chain-link fencing, posts, rails, and replacement service gates; relocating a service gate at Field 9; and providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, disposal, and incidental services. Fence heights range from 6 to 20 feet, with field-specific dimensions and requirements provided in the solicitation. The selected contractor must verify existing conditions, protect turf, irrigation, utilities, and other improvements, maintain a clean work area, and complete the project no later than February 12, 2027. Proposals require a lump-sum price, a letter of interest and minimum qualifications, three similar-service references, the attached proposal form, and an executed Services Agreement with specified exhibits and signature page. Attendance at the mandatory on-site pre-proposal conference is required to submit a proposal. Sealed proposals are due by 2:00 p.m. local time on October 29, 2026, at the Barrow County Board of Commissioners County Clerk's Office.
