Description
The City of Abilene is soliciting approximately 300 fully automated 300-gallon containers. Containers must be seamless HDPE with specified wall thickness, a black finish, a partially fixed and hinged hatch-style lid, smooth tapered interiors, molded-in nesting stops, required safety markings, hot-melt-compounded material, serial-number traceability, and “Property of City of Abilene” hot-stamped on the side. The solicitation requires a minimum five-year warranty and submission of warranty information. Pricing must remain valid for one year from award. Orders will be placed on an as-needed basis in truckload quantities, with bidders required to state the number of containers per truckload; all orders are FOB Abilene, Texas. Vendors with Council-awarded contracts must complete Form 1295 when submitting the signed contract, including notarization of the completed form.
