Description
Cumberland County Schools (CCS) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to furnish, install, configure, and support a complete School Zone Flashing Beacon System. The project involves replacing existing school zone warning signs with new MUTCD-compliant flashing beacon assemblies at approximately 113 locations across the district. The system will utilize cellular communications and cloud-based software to enable centralized monitoring, scheduling, reporting, and management of all beacons. The successful proposer will provide a turnkey solution including equipment, installation, software, communications, training, documentation, warranties, and ongoing technical support. The scope includes removal and disposal of existing equipment, site work, installation of new signs, LED flashers, controllers, and communications equipment, as well as system commissioning and training. The contract will have a two-year base term with two one-year renewal options.
