LITTLE ROCK SCHOOL DISTRICT INVITATION FOR BIDS LEGAL AD #F27-001 FIRE ALARM, HALL HIGH The Little Rock School District is requesting SEALED bids from qualified licensed contractors to provide a FIRE ALARM REPLACEMENT for Hall High A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting and walk-thru for this project will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Hall High, 6700 H. Street, Little Rock, AR 72205. This meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. All potential bidders must attend this meeting to be eligible to submit a bid. Bid opening meeting will be held via Zoom on September 30, 2026, @ 2:00 pm. The complete invitation for bid documents is available online at https://lrsd.ionwave.net. Interested bidders must register at this site to download bid forms and submit a bid electronically. This is the REQUIRED method of submission. Description
The Little Rock School District is soliciting sealed bids from qualified, licensed contractors to replace the fire alarm system at Hall High. The scope includes removing the existing system and providing the replacement, with the bid submitted as a total lump sum. The contractor must begin upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and complete the work within 180 days. Liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day may apply for late completion. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk-through is required for bidder eligibility. The apparent low bidder must provide proof of insurance within five business days after the District's request. A 5% bid bond is required, and a 100% performance and payment bond is required after award if the bid exceeds $20,000. Required bid materials include the completed bid forms and attributes, bidder assurance and disclosure, intent-to-perform and MBE/WBE forms, and the required bid bond documentation. MBE/WBE forms must be submitted even when not applicable, in which case the bidder must mark them accordingly.
