Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking capability information for a potential project to remove and dispose of three existing roll-up garage doors and install three new sectional overhead doors. The work also includes installing two electric door operators, replacing side seals as needed, and providing preventative maintenance for up to ten additional roll-up doors. The contractor would provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, and would perform installation, adjustments, testing, and cleanup. Door specifications include insulated white ribbed-steel panels, galvanized hardware, weather seals, and torsion springs. Contractors must verify measurements and existing conditions during a mandatory site visit. This is a sources-sought notice for market research, not a request for proposals or bids; no solicitation is currently available. Interested firms are asked to submit a response of no more than five pages, including up to three similar projects completed within the past five years and information about their capabilities, business size, and interest in performing as a prime, subcontractor, or joint venture. The notice describes a 60-day period of performance from notice to proceed; the statement of work separately gives a period of performance of November 30 through December 30, 2026.
