Description
The contractor will rewind and refurbish three 4,160-volt adult fish pump motors, including inspections and electrical testing, rotor and stator work, new bearings, resistance temperature detectors, painting, and preparation for shipment. The motors are to be serviced one at a time, with government-furnished motors made available in sequence. The work includes testing for asbestos-containing material and, if confirmed, abatement with contracting officer approval; time-and-materials shop repairs may also be authorized within separate not-to-exceed ceilings for each motor. The scope also includes final operation and maintenance manuals, delivery and acceptance of each rewound motor, and in-person commissioning support during scheduled start-up. Quotes must include pricing for all line items, including hourly rates for asbestos abatement and shop repair labor. The solicitation requests a signed Standard Form 1449, applicable amendment forms, completed pricing schedules, and the requested general contract information; foreign offerors must also submit IRS Form W-14 if applicable.
