Description
The contractor will transport twelve draft tube bulkheads and associated seal keeper bars from Dworshak Dam to its repair facility and return them after rehabilitation. Work includes removing existing coatings by abrasive blasting, inspecting all welds and the steel structure, performing government-directed weld repairs if needed, and applying the specified coating system. The contractor is responsible for transportation, handling, and protecting the bulkheads during the work. The offeror must submit its coating certification or endorsement, paint product datasheets, manufacturer’s warranty, weld inspector qualifications, and welder/operator qualifications with its bid. The work also requires qualified coating and welding personnel, inspection reports, and compliance with detailed coating, transportation, and quality requirements. The solicitation includes three phased pickup and return schedules; the amendment revises certain phase dates, with the final phase return due July 1, 2027.
