Description
The City of New Britain is seeking proposals for inspection services related to the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater and Dewatering Wastewaters from Construction Activities. These services are for the Smith Elementary School Project, which involves selective demolition, site improvements, building additions, and a complete renovation of the existing building, covering an area of approximately 11.82 acres. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting various inspections, including Plan Implementation Inspections, Routine/Rain Event Inspections (with turbidity testing), and Post-Construction Inspections, all in accordance with the Stormwater General Permit requirements. The inspection and testing personnel must meet DEEP qualifications. Proposals should include a lump sum value inclusive of all expenses, travel costs, and reporting costs. The contract duration is anticipated to be 24 months, commencing with the first inspection.
