Description
Uintah County is soliciting a contractor for a complete north parking lot and building entrance remodel. The work includes demolition and reconstruction of approximately 24,393 square feet of parking pavement; concrete sidewalks, walkways, curbs, gutters, ADA ramps, detectable warning surfaces, accessible parking, signage, striping, pedestrian-route graphics, landscaping restoration, and traffic and pedestrian controls. The project also includes a glycol snowmelt system with tubing, manifolds, pumps, boiler, controls, sensors, piping, testing, startup, and commissioning; replacement and installation of exterior and building lighting; conduit and power rough-ins for future pole-mounted security cameras; new flagpoles and uplighting; and construction of a new entrance vestibule. Vestibule work includes structural foundations and framing, storefront and glazing, automatic sliding doors, roofing, EIFS, insulation, finishes, handrails and guardrails, electrical and low-voltage systems, fire-alarm interfaces, and a unit heater. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, coordination, testing, inspections, cleanup, closeout documentation, and a detailed schedule demonstrating completion within 45 calendar days. A current Utah contractor license, two comparable customer references from the past five years, a project approach, a one-year warranty, and completed bid proposal and bid schedule forms are required at submission. Responses must be submitted electronically through the procurement portal, with a separate cost response and technical response. Vendors requesting confidentiality must submit a completed Claim of Business Confidentiality form and both redacted and non-redacted versions of the proposal.
