Description
The City seeks a contractor to build a shared-use path along State Route 125 between Elstun Road and Ranchvale Drive. Work includes removing existing pavement and curbs, grading, constructing the path and curb ramps, installing stormwater drainage improvements, restoring disturbed areas, and adding traffic signs, pavement markings, and signal modifications at two intersections. The path is planned to be 14 feet wide and separated from the roadway by a grass buffer. Bidders must be prequalified by the Ohio Department of Transportation for the specified work. The project has a 6% ODOT Small Business Enterprise goal, and bidders must submit an SBE Utilization Plan. A bid surety of at least 10% of the bid is required. The successful contractor must provide performance and payment surety of 100% of the contract value and complete the work within 180 days of the start of work.
