Description
SORTA is seeking vendors to supply and deliver specified new OEM spare parts for its transit buses on an as-needed basis under an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract. The listed items include steering assemblies, control panels, windshields, slack adjusters, hub caps, air springs, filters, shock absorbers, wiper assemblies, hoses, motors, sensors, pumps, brake components, and other bus parts. Estimated quantities are provided for each of two years, but actual orders will vary with inventory needs. Parts must meet OEM specifications, have identifiable part numbers, and may not be replaced with unapproved components. The bid requires pricing for the listed items, including freight and other costs. The contract term is two years; the solicitation states that defective parts must be replaced within ten calendar days after receipt of the defective parts.
