Description
The California Tahoe Conservancy is soliciting bids for fuels management and wildfire-risk reduction across approximately 18.29 acres in the Kings Beach community. Work includes cutting designated live and dead trees and brush with chainsaws, bucking logs, piling or stacking firewood, chipping and removing slash and brush, and disposing of contractor-generated materials. The contractor must provide all equipment, tools, permits, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, safety measures, and site restoration required by the scope of work. The project requires compliance with applicable prevailing-wage, environmental, safety, and land-management requirements. A California contractor license is required. The contract is anticipated to run from execution or required approval through August 1, 2028, and the total contract amount may be up to $550,000. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the lump-sum bid for all categories.
