Dade County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed proposals from a purchaser to cut, purchase, and remove timber from a designated 100- to 110-acre harvest area at the Dade County Sports Complex. Proposals should include a standard timber purchase agreement with prices per ton for applicable wood types and grades, including hardwood, pine, fuel wood, grade logs, pallet logs, pulpwood, stave logs, and tie logs. The purchaser will be responsible for all labor, equipment, transportation, permitting, regulatory compliance, property protection, and repair of any damage caused during harvesting. Required documentation includes applicable E-Verify documentation, IRS Form W-9, a certificate of liability insurance, and other documentation required by the County. A fully executed agreement must be in place before harvesting begins.
