Description
The National Park Service is seeking information from large and small businesses regarding a planned competitive construction acquisition to rehabilitate or replace the Old Faithful wastewater treatment plant and related infrastructure. The anticipated project magnitude is $50–$100 million for the base requirement plus all options, with a future single firm-fixed-price contract anticipated. The scope includes CCTV inspection and rehabilitation or replacement of sewer mains, manholes, and laterals; construction of new wastewater treatment plant buildings and process facilities; piping, valves, instrumentation, analyzers, process equipment, PLC/SCADA controls, generators, HVAC, and fuel-storage systems; rehabilitation and replacement of lift stations; demolition of an abandoned raw sewage pump station; and temporary bypass operations. Construction must account for limited staging, an operating park, visitor-impact mitigation, environmental protection, seasonal shutdowns, and possible winter work. Responses are for market research only; proposals are not being requested or accepted at this time.
