Description
Polk County, through Construction Manager at Risk J.M. Cope, Inc., is accepting prequalification applications from first-tier specialty trade contractors for the new Polk County Community Recreation Facility. The identified trade package is BP0235—Aggregate Piers; additional packages may be added or deleted. The project involves constructing a two-story, 33,331-square-foot pre-engineered recreational facility with an additional 7,585 square feet of aquatics space on approximately 6.58 acres in Columbus, North Carolina. Planned features include aquatic spaces, a gymnasium for pickleball, basketball, and volleyball, locker rooms, multipurpose and workout spaces, studios, wellness areas, offices, administrative areas, and common areas.
