The City of Las Cruces is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for updating its development impact fee structure. This includes revising land use assumptions and the capital improvements plan specifically for public safety services such as police and fire departments. The selected firm will be responsible for analyzing projected growth and development to inform these updates. The scope of work involves developing comprehensive updated land use assumptions that will serve as the basis for various city impact fee capital improvements plans, and specifically creating an updated impact fee capital improvements plan for public safety. The selected firm will also be expected to participate in public hearings and make presentations to relevant committees and stakeholders. The City anticipates the final reports to be available for adoption by April 2027.
