Description
The City of Cincinnati is soliciting bids for construction of approximately 1,000 linear feet of a new shared-use path between Bramble Park and Settle Street. The work includes site clearing and grubbing, tree removal, excavation and embankment, subgrade compaction, aggregate base, asphalt intermediate and surface courses, concrete landings, traffic control, erosion control, seeding and mulching, bikeway railing, yard drains, perforated underdrain pipe, and planting five replacement trees. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, permits, traffic and pedestrian controls, utility coordination, site safety measures, environmental protections, and restoration. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements, City minority- and women-owned business enterprise participation goals of 8% MBE and 10% WBE, a 10% bid surety, 100% performance surety, specified insurance, and completion within 60 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must include the completed bid forms and Excel pricing sheet, with all required forms combined into one PDF attachment.
