Description
The Virginia Department of General Services is soliciting a one-time purchase of 54 cases of cloth/wiping rags meeting Federal Specification DDD-R-30F. Each case must contain 50 pounds of prewashed and sanitized rags composed of approximately 15–20% denim, 45–55% two-sided terry cloth, and 30–40% recycled cotton or sweatshirt-type material. The specified product is Erie Cotton #135104R112R or a Virginia Department of Corrections-approved equivalent. Rags must be packed in 50-pound corrugated boxes with hand-holds. Boxes must be heavy enough to withstand shipping, stacking, and transportation; double-wall corrugated construction is strongly recommended. Bidders must state the number of cases per pallet, and samples may be required. Delivery is scheduled for November 18, 2026, with a delivery appointment required.
