Description

Collier County is seeking a professional engineering consultant to advance the Lake Park Boulevard Area Improvements and Flow Way Restoration Project from independent evaluation and field investigations through final design, permitting, bidding support, construction administration, post-design services, and one year of construction warranty support. The project addresses recurring flooding and inadequate stormwater conveyance through hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, drainage and flow-way improvements, water control structures, roadway widening and elevation adjustments, sidewalk and ADA-compliant pedestrian connectivity, utility coordination, easements, environmental assessment, and regulatory permitting. The consultant must provide surveying, subsurface utility engineering, geotechnical and environmental investigations, coordinated 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% design deliverables, construction plans and specifications, cost estimates, permitting support, public outreach, bidding assistance, and construction-phase engineering services. Proposals will be evaluated on professional personnel, certified woman and/or minority business enterprise status, past performance, project approach and budget management, location, and workload. The proposal is limited to 150 pages; the project approach is limited to seven pages, including a one-page conceptual schedule and a three-page cost-management discussion.
