Description

Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205 is seeking a turnkey proposal for one enterprise-level Category 2 core switch system at York High School. Vendors may propose either one Cisco Nexus 9504, one Cisco Catalyst 9606R, or an enterprise-level equivalent. The scope includes delivery, installation, configuration, and seven years of SmartNet or equivalent maintenance. Alternative bids and substitutions are permitted if clearly identified and detailed. Proposals must include the vendor's SPIN, separate eligible and ineligible equipment and pricing, line-item manufacturer/model or SKU, quantities, unit and extended costs, and a typical sales contract and maintenance contract. Subcontractors are permitted with district approval, but equipment must be purchased and provided directly by the manufacturer or an authorized distributor. Vendors must have Illinois service personnel and provide at least three Illinois E-rate references. The district will evaluate cost, qualifications, response quality, references, and local presence, with price as the primary criterion. The successful vendor must provide specified insurance and comply with E-rate and USAC requirements.
