Description
Edgecombe County is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to clean, patch, sealcoat, and restripe multiple county parking lots. Work includes removing debris, cleaning and tar-patching cracks to industry standards, applying at least two hand-applied coats of asphalt sealant with adequate drying time, and repainting parking lines, accessible symbols, directional arrows, and other existing markings with industry-standard traffic paint. Bidders must provide required licenses and certifications, at least three references, and a completed cost proposal sheet or equivalent bid sheet. Additional patching must be priced separately as an add alternate for each parking lot. A certificate of liability insurance showing at least $1,000,000 in general liability coverage and workers' compensation coverage is required within 10 days after award.
