Description
Anson County has received a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the North Carolina Department of Commerce to fund demolition, design, and construction/modular home installation services for approximately three low/moderate income, owner-occupied single-family properties. These properties are located within Anson County. Qualified, licensed General Contractors are invited to bid on these housing construction activities. Contractors demonstrating efficiency and effectiveness across multiple properties will be viewed favorably. Interested contractors must also complete a "Contractor Application" to be considered a complete applicant. Bids and completed applications must be mailed and received by close of business on July 9th, 2026. Bids should be clearly marked "CDBG-NR Reconstruction Bid" and sent to Matthew Rea, Construction Project Manager, Centralina Regional Council, 575 US Highway 52 South, Wadesboro, NC 28170. The bid opening will take place on July 10th, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Anson County Government Annex, 575 US Highway 52 South, Wadesboro, NC 28170.
