Description
The New York State Office of Mental Health is soliciting quotes for preventive maintenance and repair of washers and dryers at Manhattan Psychiatric Center and Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center. The scope includes monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual inspections and cleaning, leak and hose checks, lint removal, belt and gasket inspections, electrical and gas connection checks, steam-coil and filter maintenance, operational testing, and reporting of abnormalities or recommended replacements. The quote must include visit costs and estimated hours for each maintenance frequency, annualized costs, and a mandatory $12,000 equipment-parts budget, for which costs over $500 per occurrence require facility approval. The anticipated contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. Services are expected to occur approximately 60% at Manhattan Psychiatric Center and 40% at Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center.
