Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting firm-fixed-price laundry, linen, dry-cleaning, and scrub rental services for Luke Air Force Base's Medical Group and Human Performance Team. The contractor must provide all labor, management, equipment, tools, supplies, pickup, delivery, cleaning, packaging, sanitation, inventory management, and scrub and linen replenishment services. Work includes healthcare linens, approximately 25,700 estimated annual pounds of medical-group laundry, rental scrubs, bath towels, hand towels, and poly carts. Services must comply with Joint Commission and Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council requirements and applicable federal and state healthcare-laundry regulations. Pickup and delivery are required on specified weekday schedules, with separate service points for the Medical Group and Human Performance Team. The technical proposal is limited to 3-5 pages and must address inventory tracking, special healthcare-laundry requirements, turnaround times, and separation of clean and soiled laundry. The required bid schedule must be used. Award will consider technical capability, Supplier Performance Risk System past performance, and total evaluated price.
