Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks small-business sources capable of providing mobile crane rental services, including cranes, certified crane operators, riggers, labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, delivery, setup, dismantling, and pickup. Services would support multiple NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Public Works Department locations throughout the Hampton Roads area, with the ability to respond simultaneously to requirements at various installations. The anticipated vehicle is a multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreement/indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity arrangement for non-recurring services, with a total term not exceeding 60 months. Interested firms must submit a capabilities package of no more than five pages addressing relevant projects from the past five years, state-regulatory knowledge, company profile, office and employee information, annual receipts, office locations, bonding capacity, UEI and CAGE Code, socioeconomic status, and geographic operating capability. The package is for market research only and is not a proposal; no contract will be awarded from this notice. The PWS also identifies requirements for crane inspections and certifications, rigging equipment, road permits, repairs or replacement within three hours of a breakdown, safety and quality-control management, and related maintenance and lift documentation.
