Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is planning a competitively awarded, fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract under FAR Part 15 for NSN 1560-006898285, TUBE, BLEED AIR, part number 12560-101A, manufactured by Arrowhead Products Corp. (CAGE 70628) for the C-5 Galaxy aircraft. The contract is expected to have a five-year base period with no option periods, an estimated annual demand of 40 units, minimum delivery orders of 10 units, and maximum delivery orders of 40 units. Production units will have a 317-day delivery requirement, and shipments will be made to CONUS stock locations specified on delivery orders. The procurement will be unrestricted, but the item is source-controlled and classified as a Critical Application Item (Critical Part). DLA will not evaluate alternate offers from manufacturers that are not approved sources. Offerors must complete the eventual solicitation to be considered for award; companies seeking approval for future acquisitions must pursue the Source Approval Request process. Best-value evaluation may consider price, past performance, and other factors identified in the solicitation. The solicitation is expected to be issued through the DLA Internet Bid Board System on or about September 15, 2026.
