Description
The City seeks qualified mechanical contractors to provide on-call HVAC and mechanical services, including emergency response. The contractor will supply the labor, equipment, and materials needed to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment such as air handlers, chillers, boilers, pumps, motors, fans, and compressors. The work also includes mechanical piping and steam-fitting repairs involving steam, chilled-water, condenser-water, and domestic-water systems; welding and soldering as needed; and troubleshooting steam traps, pressure-reducing valves, and condensate systems. Proposals must include company history, experience and references, a proposed solution, risk mitigation, pricing for specified response times and labor rates, and the required insurance form. The contract is annual, beginning October 1, 2026, with up to four one-year renewal options.
