Description
Parks Canada Agency requires a complete renovation of the existing women's, men's, and universal public washrooms and janitor closet at Bellevue House National Historic Site. The work includes selective demolition; partitions, ceilings, gypsum board, tile, doors, hardware, toilet compartments, solid-surface vanities, plumbing fixtures, HVAC and exhaust modifications, electrical work, fire alarm and emergency call systems, signage, accessibility improvements, temporary protection, waste management, testing, commissioning, and closeout documentation. The contractor must coordinate licensed plumbing, HVAC, and electrical trades; protect the occupied heritage site and retained historic fabric; provide required shop drawings, product data, samples, schedules, health and safety documentation, environmental and heritage protection planning, and an Indigenous Participation Plan. The contract is estimated at $100,001 to $250,000 excluding taxes, has a proposed four-month period beginning November 2, 2026, and requires completion by March 19, 2027. Bid and contract security are expressly not required. The bid uses a two-submission procedure: Submission 1 is the Indigenous Participation Plan and associated documents, and Submission 2 is the Bid and Acceptance Form and price.
