Description
Marion County's Office of the County Engineer seeks one consultant to prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report and design construction plans, specifications, and permitting documents for the NW 44th Avenue Add 2 Lanes project from NW 60th Street to West Highway 326. The approximately 1.4-mile corridor is currently a two-lane roadway with 12-foot lanes, curb and gutter, and right-of-way varying from 50 to 130 feet. The scope includes roadway widening, traffic and intersection analysis, environmental and cultural-resource reviews, public-involvement support, surveys, right-of-way acquisition support, roadway and drainage design, utility coordination, signing and pavement-marking plans, maintenance-of-traffic plans, quantity and cost estimates, permitting, geotechnical coordination, plan reviews, constructability reviews, site visits, bid assistance, and post-design construction support. Deliverables include signed and sealed engineering documents, plan sets, permit materials, cost estimates, and digital files in the required formats. The agreement term is 24 months, with possible extension or additional negotiation subject to County approval.
