Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for comprehensive wastewater system services at the Honey Lake Safety Roadside Rest Area. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, travel, and incidentals for monthly, quarterly, annual, and as-needed activities, including wastewater and groundwater sampling, laboratory analysis, monitoring, reporting, inspections, operational data collection, routine maintenance, pump and screen cleaning, recirculating sand filter maintenance, jetting and brushing, and wastewater system repairs. The contractor must hold the applicable California contractor license, a current Geologist or Civil Engineer license for certifying monitoring reports, and use an Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program-certified laboratory. The agreement is estimated to run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029. Prevailing wage requirements apply when the total bid exceeds $15,000. Bidders must submit the completed bid proposal and required certifications and supporting documentation; insurance and other contract-execution documents are required only from the winning bidder.
