Description
The South Dakota Department of the Military is soliciting Statements of Interest from architectural and engineering firms for all phases of professional consulting services related to replacing three air-cooled condensing units serving Combined Surface Maintenance Shop #1. The scope includes site investigation, testing, surveying, unit sizing and analysis, footprint and mounting review, structural integrity analysis, design development, cost estimating, and evaluation of replacement options based on energy efficiency and cost. The AE team must include architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering capabilities. The requested submission is a Statement of Interest addressing project approach, technical expertise, project management, relevant codes and National Guard Bureau standards, sustainable design, team availability, facility familiarity, resources, resumes, licenses or certifications, and past performance on similar projects. The solicitation limits the Statement of Interest to 20 pages or fewer. Construction is planned for Federal Fiscal Year 2027, with construction administration identified as a later phase and the selection intended to cover the life of the project, subject to approvals and funding.
