Description
B-Y Water District is soliciting lump-sum bids for demolition of two lime slaker units in its old water treatment plant and replacement with new equipment. The work also includes cleaning the slaker-area floor and surfaces, replacing two pneumatic conveyance elbows on the building roof, and completing all associated electrical, instrumentation, controls, and other work shown in the drawings and specifications. Bidders must be licensed contractors in South Dakota. Each bid requires bid security consisting of either a certified, cashier’s, or draft check for 5% of the bid amount from a South Dakota or national bank, or a bid bond for 10% of the bid amount from a surety authorized to do business in South Dakota. The successful bidder must furnish construction performance and payment bonds.
