Description
The City seeks a firm-fixed-price bid for materials and delivery for a 20-by-24-foot, four-sided shelter with a gable-end tubular steel frame, ribbed steel roof, and 2-by-6 tongue-and-groove decking beneath. The shelter will have 18-inch to 2-foot eaves on all sides, with color selected by the City. City staff will construct the shelter; the bid price must include all materials, shipping, and signed and sealed drawings prepared by an Iowa-licensed engineer. Bidders must provide descriptive literature, warranty information, a complete materials list, and drawings. The response also requests warranty details, pricing firmness, estimated lead time, and responses to specified bid-acceptance and payment questions. The City evaluates bids based on the lowest responsive bid and responsibility, with stated consideration of specifications, insurance capability, lead time, warranties, and past performance.
