Description
The City seeks fixed unit-price bids for an as-needed supply of road construction materials for its Public Works and Water and Sewer departments. Items include bank-run gravel, crushed stone, process aggregate, riprap, bituminous concrete mixtures and cold patch, sand bedding, topsoil, screened topsoil, and screenings. Materials may be picked up at the bidder's plant or delivered to specified city locations, depending on the item and order. Bidders must provide sieve analyses for specified materials and a signed certification that supplied materials meet applicable state specifications. The contract term is 12 months, commencing on or after December 1, 2026, with an option to renew for up to one additional year if mutually acceptable. The bid package requires the completed bid proposal form, a signed non-collusive statement, a completed and notarized workers' compensation conformance form, and a materials certification letter with the bid. A local-vendor preference applies; bidders claiming local status must submit the local-vendor affidavit with supporting evidence.
