Description
North Franklin Township is soliciting sealed proposals for Phase 1 improvements at Waterside Park. The base bid includes a Redi-Rock retaining wall, utility line extensions, a 9,975-square-foot pickleball court surface on a new reinforced concrete slab, fencing, concrete sidewalks, light posts, electrical pedestal power stations, water spigots, benches, a new 11,523-square-foot asphalt parking lot, striping, and stormwater infrastructure. The add alternate covers milling, resurfacing, asphalt replacement, and a new wedge curb on West Palm Street. The project is funded in whole or in part by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Commonwealth Financing Authority. Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements apply, along with public-works employment-verification requirements. The pickleball court surface must be applied by a Sealmaster-approved contractor. A certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the proposal is required.
